Boating Adventure

Jon and I have wanted to go boating for a long time....we have been here in Florida almost a year. There were some hoops to jump through to get a boating lisense and getting everything squared away with the bases rules. We had attempted to go boating a couple times prior and each time learned something more we had to do first. But finally all was in order and we were going on our first boating adventure.
It was a beautiful cool October day, in the 70s with a light breeze. We boated out to crab Island and wieghed anchor there for a while, then returned back to the base. We were on the water around 3 hours. It was beautiful, and a wonderful way to just spent time with eachother.
