October 2nd marks our anniversary. We have yet to celebrate it on the day. We got married on conference Friday, so last year our anniversary was on conference Saturday, and this year conference Sunday. So we celebrated Friday night. Jon was doing simulators 6 days this week, so we could not do anything big. But there is a dinner cruise ship called the Arkansas Queen that we have seen going down the river by our apartments. So we booked and dinner trip. The ship was cute and nicely decorated. We got to explore and enjoy the nice cool fall air. It turned fall this week.
In the two years we have been married we have lived in Alabama (for ASBC), Enid Oklahoma, a T.D.Y. to Colorado, Corpus Christi Texas, now T.D.Y. to Little Rock, in route to Hurlbert Field. We have made amazing friends every where we have lived. We have found a dog, Lady, on the side of the road and adopted her. We have had 2 of my siblings get married, 2 nephews and 3 nieces born, and 2 more nieces on the way. We have served as ward missionaries, primary teachers, and primary president. We have visited all the states mentioned above as well as Idaho, Utah, Nebraska, and Kentucky to see family. We have visited Monika's mission in South Carolina. We have honeymooned in the Bahamas and Michigan (not on purpose). Monika has worked at 3 different hospitals. It has been one very exciting adventure together. And we are so very much in love!
