My parents decided they wanted to come help us with our new set of projects down here in Florida. We were super excited for them to visit, have our first guests, and spend time with them. It was a little bit of a battle as they wanted to take on all the projects and we wanted to enjoy them too. :) We picked them up from the airport early friday afternoon and after feeding them a snack dad and Jon spent time putting in the dishwasher. It was tricky to take out the cabnets and make everything look nice but they succeeded. (To see pictures look under our house post). We took them to McGuires that night. (Have you noticed we like it seein how often it has made it into the blog). They enjoyed it and so did we. Then it was very much time for bed. Saturday morning mom and I left the guys to work and we went to Zumba. Good times. Saturday we tackled the project of painting the bathroom from mustard yellow to a pale blue (the name is morning run...Jon asked if that was a hint). (Also see house section for that). Saturday evening was Stake adult session for us, and my parents came with us. Lots of good stuff there too. Then Jon made a great steak dinner. Then a short game and we herded everyone to bed. Suday was again stake conference, again very good stuff. Then home and relax (as best as my parents could). Mom also learned how to make some baby hair bows. For dinner we were joined by Heather, Josh, Lillian, and Tiffany. Yay! It was the first time my parents had met baby Lillian, also the first time the Smiths had ventured to our house. My mom had brought a stash of baby clothes to spoil Lillian with. It was a wonderful gathering. When they left we pulled out some more games. My dad says he played more games with us than he has in years. Hehehe...glad we could spoil them.

Monday Jon and Dad worked on the fixing the toilet (that is another story altogether) while Mom and I again went to zumba. Mom was aching to start another project, but we didn't let them as we had take them to the airport before too long. Jon fed them basil chicken before they left. It was a wonderful weekend!
